General Questions

How can I get a quote?

It can be difficult to give an exact quote without seeing the job. Simply visit the “Book Now” page and provide us with information about your house and schedule. We will contact you within 24 hours to set up a consultation and cleaning.

Am I charged the full quoted amount even if it doesn't take that long to clean my house?

No, you’re only charged based on the amount of time your cleaner was actually at your home working. While we do offer standard flat-rates for standard cleans, all quotes take into account complexity of work and time needed to complete the job. Please note, prices are subject to fluctuate depending on nature of work.

Does someone have to visit my house before I can book a cleaning?

Absolutely not! You can get a quote and book your cleaning online. As a policy, we always provide a free walkthrough and estimate of the property before we begin a cleaning.

Are cleaning supplies included?

We always provide cleaning supplies for all commercial and residential cleaning projects.

However, If you would like your cleaners to use specific products, you can provide them to us and let us know when you book your cleaning.

What if I'm not happy with my cleaning?

Please get in touch with us right away and we’ll make arrangements to rectify the situation. We have a satisfaction guarantee that we stand by.

Scheduling Questions

CAN I GET A SAME-DAY BOOKING?

We don’t guarantee same-day bookings. But, depending on the day, we can often meet this requirement.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR MY CLEANING?

It’s completely up to you. If you’re not going to be home, make sure you let us know how to access your house by providing us with access information when booking your cleaning.

In addition to access information we require that you let us know in advance if there are pets or any other hazardous materials we should be made aware of prior to entering the residence.

DOES MY CLEANER ARRIVE AT THE EXACT TIME I BOOK?

Yes, most of the time. However, we allow a one-hour window due to traffic and weather circumstances. In scenarios where your cleaner will be late, you will be contacted to let you know the estimated time of arrival.

WHEN AM I CHARGED FOR THE SERVICE?

Residential Cleaning:

You are not charged until after the cleaning has been completed. You will be given an estimate prior to cleaning. Your invoice will reflect the full amount due.

Commercial Cleaning:

You are not charged until after the cleaning has been completed. Your invoice will reflect the contracted amount negotiated. Typical payment terms are net 30 days unless agreed upon in advance of cleaning.

ARE THERE ANY COMMITMENTS OR CONTRACTS?

Residential Cleaning:

No, you can cancel service anytime without any penalties. You don’t have to commit to any contracts or pre-determined number of appointments.

Commercial Cleaning:

Commercial cleanings are subject to contracts and SOW’s. All contracts will be willfully agreed upon by both client and Blue Palm prior to work commencing. Contracts may be renegotiated and amended depending on nature and scope of work.

Cleaning Questions

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A STANDARD CLEANING?

Residential Cleaning:

A standard house clean includes cleaning of all floors (mop, swifer, vacuum), wipe down and dust off all surfaces, mirror and interior window clean, kitchen counter top clean, pick up loose items/trash, and organize common rooms. You can also request extra items such as grout cleaning, and appliance cleaning during your online booking.

 

Commercial Cleaning:

Commercial cleans do not have a standard cleaning package as all commercial cleaning projects are custom quoted based on a combination of square footage, complexity of clean, and extra services provided.

DO YOU PROVIDE THE SUPPLIES?

We always provide cleaning supplies for all commercial and residential cleaning projects.

However, If you would like your cleaners to use specific products you like and provide, just let us know when you book your cleaning.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

We offer a range of services for both residential and commercial properties. These include weekly cleaning, one-time cleaning, post construction cleaning, grout cleaning, and move-in/move-out cleaning. You can see the different services by visiting our Services page.

HOW MANY CLEANERS DO YOU SEND?

It depends on the scale of the cleaning, for residential cleaning typically only one cleaner is sent to your home. If you’re on a recurring schedule, we’ll do our best to match you with the same person going forward or a cleaner of your choice.

For commercial cleaning, teams can range from 1-8 people depending on the size and time frame of the clean.

ARE CLEANING COMPANY CLEANERS SCREENED?

Absolutely. Our cleaners go through a screening process that includes a police background check, reference checks, and in-person interviews. All cleaners are required to have a clean driving and criminal records. We also require them to undergo our extensive and continuous training on residential & commercial cleaning.
